Skateboarding!

So, anyone here skateboard? If so what tricks do you know, what are your 'stats', what board do you use... etc. If not then would you like to?

I'm relearning after a 3 year break - basically my local skate park shut down, then the skate shop went out of business. Then everyone stopped.

My Stats. These are based on how well I can currently pull 'em off.

Ollie - 99%
Grinding - 60%
Kick Flips - 40%
Ramps - 57%
Manual - 80%
Random Stuff - 50%

My Board.

I used to have a Renner. Now I have a custom board. Below are some of the parts:

Deck - Zombie Face, Drop Dead style. 8".
Trucks - Enuff... I think they're called 'Ice' or something...
Risers - Grind King.... I think.
Wheels - Enuff, Green Corelites.
Bearings - Bones, Red.

I have an board, but I'm not that good really...

My friend in US had one but i sucked terribly, where I live now it isn't used.

It's just that when I practice I fall... Alot

Skateboarding used to be illegal in Norway because it was dangerous... But that was prolly like 10 years before I was born xD

They banned it. Damn! Compared to other sports skateboarding is actually one of the safest:


Basically (I may have read this wrong but it is 2AM) skateboarding has the largest playerbase but it only has the 3rd largest injury base. And out of the injured only .006% went to A&E (ER).

The second graph compares skateboarding with team sports. As you can see the injury to player ratio is still very low.

This graph was made in 1997 (I think) so is a little out of date but it shows the point - skateboarding is safe!

Never really liked Skateboarding. I have tried it afew times though wasn't that good and it wasn't fun for me.
